Equipment

  • 1 Small Pot or Microwave-Safe Bowl: To heat the refried beans.
  • 1 Large Non-Stick Skillet: For warming and toasting the tortillas.
  • 1 Spoon or Offset Spatula: For spreading fillings.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 large flour tortillas
  • 1 can refried beans
  • cups shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • ½ cup salsa
  • Optional: cumin chili powder, or hot sauce

Instructions
 

  • Warm tortillas in a dry pan or microwave until soft and pliable.
  • Heat refried beans in a small pot or microwave.
  • Spread beans evenly across each tortilla.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the beans, then add a spoonful of salsa.
  • Fold in sides, roll tightly into burritos.
  • Optional: toast in a pan for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and sealed. Serve warm.
