Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Optional: parsley or chili flakes

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta in salted water. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  • In a pan, melt butter and sauté chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Whisk milk + flour together (this is your slurry), then pour into the pan.
  • Simmer until thickened, then return chicken and pasta.
  • Toss well, adding pasta water if needed. Serve hot.
