2 lbs chicken wings split into drumettes and flats 1 tbsp avocado canola, or vegetable oil 1 tsp kosher salt 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp paprika ½ tsp onion powder ½ tsp black pepper ½ cup buffalo sauce barbecue sauce, or sauce of choice, optional
Preheat: Heat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet and place a wire rack on top.
Dry: Pat chicken wings thoroughly dry with paper towels.
Season: Toss wings with oil, salt, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Arrange: Place wings in a single layer on the rack, leaving space between pieces.
Bake: Bake for 40–45 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crisp.
Check: Confirm the thickest part reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
Sauce: Toss hot wings with buffalo, barbecue, or another sauce if desired. Serve immediately.
