Ingredients
  

For the Chicken:

  • 1 lb Boneless skinless chicken thighs or breast, sliced thin
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Coriander powder
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • Juice of ½ lemon

For Assembly:

  • 4-6 Pita breads halal-certified
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced cucumbers
  • Garlic sauce or tahini sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, and all spices.
  • Add sliced chicken and coat well. Marinate 20–30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavor).
  • Heat skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken for 6–8 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Warm pita bread slightly.
  • Fill with chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and drizzle sauce.
  • Fold and serve warm.

Notes
