1 Medium Skillet: For browning the ground beef.
1 Meat Masher or Wooden Spoon: To break the beef into fine crumbles.
1 Small Ramekin: To pre-mix your DIY taco seasoning.
- 1 lb ground beef
- 10 taco shells soft or hard
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomato
- 1 tbsp oil optional
DIY Taco Seasoning:
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Heat a pan over medium-high heat and cook ground beef until browned.
Drain excess fat.

Warm taco shells.
