Equipment

  • 1 Medium Skillet: For browning the ground beef.
  • 1 Meat Masher or Wooden Spoon: To break the beef into fine crumbles.
  • 1 Small Ramekin: To pre-mix your DIY taco seasoning.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 10 taco shells soft or hard
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomato
  • 1 tbsp oil optional

DIY Taco Seasoning:

  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat a pan over medium-high heat and cook ground beef until browned.
  • Drain excess fat.
  • Add DIY seasoning and 2–3 tbsp water; simmer 2–3 minutes.
  • Warm taco shells.
  • Fill shells with beef, lettuce, and tomato. Serve immediately.
