Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 small onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Boil spaghetti in salted water; reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft.
  • Add garlic and dried herbs directly into the oil. Cook for 30 seconds (this is the flavor boost).
  • Add ground beef; cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour in marinara sauce; simmer 5–7 minutes.
  • Toss spaghetti with sauce, adding a splash of pasta water to combine. Serve hot.
